About Sarah

I love the process of making edible art. Seeing people cut into my cakes and enjoy the inside as much as the outside is fulfilling indeed. I Have a Bachelor of Arts in Music. I love singing and all forms of artistic expression, however baking and visual arts have always taken center stage in my heart. I can hardly believe it's been 15 years since I started my cake obsession! I started Let There Be Cake in 2002 and I'm learning more and more every day. I am a self taught baker. Since the age of 12 I have had a passion for baking. I have studied a wide variety of books and have experimented with so many different recipes and techniques. I believe my personal study and passion have given me more knowledge and experience than I could get with a culinary degree! I still have more to learn and look forward to many more baking and artistic endeavors.
